Elastic Restraint Devices
REG-ELB
Elastic Restraint Devices are characterized by a linear (or almost linear) behaviour and they are generally used with elastomeric elements and metal plates that are interfaced between the device and the structure other than providing adequate contrast.
- The REG type is a double unidirectional effect elastic device. Its made of a series of elastomeric disks in compression with a series of metal rods that give the device a complete symmetrical response.
- The ELB type is a simple unidimensional effect elastic almost linear device. Its made by putting elastomeric disks in a metallic structure which has the function of pressing the rubber according to the movements of the two structures connected by the device itself.
