ERGOFLON CYLINDRICAL type devices are cylinder shell structural bearings, which allow rotations of up to +/- 0.02 rad around a horizontal axis through the coupling of a convex and a concave surface with the interposition of a low friction surface made with PTFE-stainless steel coupling. The bearings are designed to be used as hinges (fixed type) or one-way (unidirectional type) or two-way (multidirectional type).
The connection to the structure can be made, depending on the nature and extent of the actions, with mechanical anchorages or by gluing with resin.
